So... what sort of music do you think I should make? Do you like the songs I've written?
I quite like writing 'pop' songs, although my lyrics tend to be a little vapid - any suggestions for song subjects I ought to cover?
Curently, I'm thinking of:
a song about TV adverts
an electropop track - I must get my Yamaha DX7 module up and running
Anything else? Another style? (bear in mind, though, that I can't play drums. Or program drum machines, either!)

Vapid is the essence of pop lyrics, though I've never considered your lyrics to be so.
I'm rubbish at topics for songs, but may I suggest computers that crash a lot, being rubbish at talking to girls, and Lara Croft as potential subjects for pop songs? Or perhaps you could branch off into angst-ridden pop-punk in order to fully explore the negative aspects of the above. Maybe combining all three topics is a possibility.
'Chav-pop' is very now, too.
But what the world needs now, is thrash metal, sweet thrash metal. Seriously. _________________ There is no honour without pie. |

The 'The Knife' song was fantastically inspiring. I would love to do electro-pop song if I could operate the JP8000 that I own.
Suggested song topics:
*Getting a dead leg whilst you sit at a computer
*Taking vitamins regularly
*Excessive facial hair
*Drums
*Pointless lists of song titles

Fine suggestions, daer Suzi.
As for the last line - to quote the great Mr Shatner: "Are you suuuuurre?"
I only wish I could play guitar, er, quick enough!

Hi, Conrad.
I'm sure you can operate the JP8000... it's so much more fulfilling to have the kit to fiddle with than a 'virtual' one on a computer. Perhaps two weeks off work and some serious mucking about time would be in order?
Great list, As for 'taking vitamins regularly' - I've heard rather an amusing song about that. I'll have to find the link and post it...
